Specializing in quality models and assurance, Ms. Hemmings has 20 years of professional experience at Nike Inc. and Levi Strauss. She is the global product integrity director for Nike, Inc. and has worked for the company in three international locations. Ms. Hemmings is tasked with overseeing and directing product integrity and global safety teams for apparel and equipment, as well as developing corporate strategies and policies. Her previous positions with Nike include liaison office director in China and apparel product integrity director in Europe. An apparel industry specialist, she has developed teams worldwide to support multimillion dollar international operations. She is also an active member on the Corporate Executive Board.
Ms. Hemmings completed textile technology and postgraduate management studies in Scotland and is a certified tai chi trainer. She supports Zoom Uganda, a partner of the Harambee Center. In the future, Ms. Hemmings aspires to develop programs and support for young female leaders.
