PORTLAND, OR, April 08, 2011, Kimberley A. Garrison, Owner and Operator of Elite Elder Care, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in business management.
Ms. Garrison has 21 years of overall professional experience and has always been passionate about geriatrics. As the owner and operator of Elite Elder Care, she is responsible for providing mobile, comprehensive, geriatric health care and medical services for home-bound senior citizens or those in assisted living facilities. She provides health care within and around the Portland, Ore., area and specializes in assessing, managing and administering care that meets the specialized needs of her clients. One of her main concerns is helping patients maximize independence and minimize disability. Additionally, Ms. Garrison provides education to clients and their families on nutrition, clinical care, pharmacology and functional ability, and helps facilitate and locate resources for clients.
In 2006, Ms. Garrison received a Master of Nursing from the University of Washington. She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1991 from Linfield-Good Samaritan and an associate degree in nursing in 1989 from Portland Community College. A member of the Oregon Geriatric Society, she is also board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
