ROCHESTER, NY, March 14, 2011, Martha Heller, Owner of Celestine Press, has been recognized by Cambridge Who’s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fine arts.
An innovative writer and artist, Ms. Heller has many years of experience as the owner of the publishing company, Celestine Press. In her position, she conducts research on the characters, mythology and legends of the fictional Palmer Cox Brownies, utilizing her findings to write compelling stories about the characters. Additionally, she lends her creativity to designing handcrafted dolls based on these characters.
In 1999, Ms. Heller donated a fine selection of her dolls and artwork to the International Museum of Photography at the George Eastman House in Rochester. Her work was showcased in the traveling exhibit in conjunction with the 100th anniversary of the Brownie Camera.
In addition to her creativity in fine art and writing, Ms. Heller is a talented classical pianist. She attributes her success in all her endeavors to her passion for the work and joy in sharing it with others.
